1. Gather style & layout ideas

First, we’ll ask you to supply us with any samples, ideas, or materials that represent the overall style you’d like to achieve. Using the information you provide, we will then start brainstorming concepts for your illustrations.

2. Look and feel sketches

Next, we’ll translate the concepts generated in step 1 into first pass, full pencil illustrations. Although these sketches won’t be in full color, they will help determine the “look and feel” of your illustrations. They will also give you a good idea of what to expect in the final illustrations so you can suggest any changes or modifications.

3. Full color illustration

After the general “look and feel” has been nailed down, we will then create full pencil sketches for each page, followed by the full coloring process. Depending on the package you chose, we will develop a set amount of concepts per page in the pencil stage, as well as in the coloring stage.

5. Final formatting

The final stage is print production, which simply means preparing your illustrations for printing.  We can deliver your final illustrations in any format necessary; just let us know. Common file formats include .PDF, .JPEG, .EPS, .AI ,and .PNG.
